Visit Asyril during the Factory Tour organized by Swissmem.
On March 5th, 2026, Swissmem is organizing a company tour in Fribourg. It will focus on concrete examples of industrial applications and on the question of which digital solutions are already a reality today and what added value they bring to everyday production.
The Factory Tour will visit Asyril in the morning and Polytype in the afternoon. Both companies will present their technologies and industrial processes, from flexible automation systems to conventional and digital printing solutions for packaging.
It will also be possible to visit the Schiffenen dam and power plant together. The hydroelectric power plant is an impressive example of how sustainable energy production and modern technology can be combined. During the guided tour, participants will gain a fascinating insight into how the plant works and the importance of hydropower for regional energy supply. The day will end with a fondue at the Café du Midi restaurant.
